M77 Gallery presented an exhibition preview of Collezione Consolandi (Consolandi Collection). The opening featured presentation of the book “L’arte cambia la vita. Sette storie esemplari di imprenditori e professionisti, collezionisti per passione” by Francesco Poli and published by Il Sole 24 Ore Cultura with the support of DLArte. Speakers included Claudia Consolandi, Giovanna Forlanelli Rovati, Michele Bonuomo and Gillo Dorfles. The book presentation provides the opportunity to discuss the profession of the art collector in the Twentieth century via a series of legendary figures of last century’s history of art who managed to foresee the rapid market changes and to adore the artists who embodied the essence of it all – from Jucker to Jesi and from Panza di Biumo to Giorgio Franchetti. Besides Claudia Consolandi, daughter of notary public Paolo Consolandi, Giovanna Forlanelli Rovati will also speak about the Rottapharm/Madaus company collection.
