Emilio Isgrò. Ulysses

M77 is proud to present Ulysses, a major exhibition project by the artist Emilio Isgrò curated by Claire Gilman, Chief Curator at the Drawing Center in New York.

The Sicilian artist, Milanese by adoption, has designed a large site-specific installation that will occupy the two floors of the gallery centered on the figure of Ulysses, as described and told by Homer, Dante and Joyce, and with the novelty of also incorporating the comparison with the suggestions of Melville’s Moby Dick, interpreted as a variant of Homer’s Ulysses.

The opening at M77 will take place on Saturday 18 November at 7pm.
