Agostino Iacurci ARTCITY BOLOGNA 2024

For the 50th edition of Arte Fiera Bologna, Ruinelust by Agostino Iacurci is on view at Garage Bentivoglio, from January 31 to February 24, 2024.

The imagery and worlds that Iacurci inhabits and builds have many similarities with the work of Felice Giani (on show in the basement Palazzo Bentivoglio: both are often based on the modes and forms of architecture pitta, which are mixed and enriched by their different obsessions.

Although reminiscent of a theatre set, the temple will never be inhabited by any actor, leaving the street and passes-by to remain the protagonists of the scene.
