Paris Photo 2023

M77, for Paris Photo 2023, presented the work of the legendary photographer and multifaceted artist Nino Migliori (Bologna, 1926) by bringing to light the interesting thematic variety in his production. Through a carefully curated selection of his vintage photographs, the gallery shows three of his most iconic series: his Neorealist phase in a range of different subjects and periods, the Ossidazioni which he realized in the 1950s, and the radical experimentations on the subject of walls with his series called Muri, carried out from the 1950s to the 1970s.

M77 is proud to announce its participation in the next edition of Frieze Masters which will take place in London from 11 to 15 October 2023. On this occasion, M77 will make its debut in Modern Women, a section curated by Camille Morineau and her team at AWARE (Archive of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions), presenting “Stretching out the Infinite”, a curatorial project that retraces Maria Lai’s touching and profoundly revolutionary approach to art through some extraordinary never-before-seen pieces belonging to the Sardinian artist's production from the 1960s until 1979.
