If you’re in France, don’t miss the exhibitions by Kaarina Kaikkonen, major figure in Scandinavian art, on display in Grenoble, from 23 January until 21 September, 2025.
Part of the cultural season called Des habits et nous, the exhibitions see the participation of important French museums, namely: J’aimerais tant éclore at the historical chapel of the Dauphinois Museum, the installation Open All Your Curtains for Ne m’oublie pas at Musée Hébert and Mes oiseaux de passage, at Saint – Laurent Archeological Museum.
Using clothing belonging to strangers, Kaarina Kaikkonen gives an intimate and universal dimension to her art by evoking absences and human relationships, both fragile and powerful, which resonate with the past of the historical archeological site.
